Terms & Conditions
These terms explain the general rules for using Quran Learning UK, requesting a free trial or tutor, arranging paid online Quran lessons, communicating about a child learner and using website materials. Specific price, timetable and service details confirmed with you before purchase also form part of your agreement.
Choose Where You Are in the Learning Journey
The full terms apply as relevant, but these quick views highlight the conditions most useful at each stage.
You Can Use the Website to Understand Courses, Tutors and How to Get Started
Website content is general information until a particular learner, tutor, timetable and paid arrangement are specifically confirmed.
- ✓Do not misuse, attack or interfere with the website
- ✓Do not copy proprietary site content for commercial redistribution
- ✓External sites have their own terms
- ✓Course descriptions do not guarantee a particular completion time
Website Information Is Not the Same as Your Booking Confirmation
Specific terms given to you for your learner — such as price, timetable and lesson arrangement — should be checked before payment.
A Trial Helps You Evaluate Level, Teaching and Tutor Fit
Quran Learning UK allows a free trial to be requested. Exact duration, platform, tutor and time are confirmed when the trial is arranged.
- ✓Give accurate learner and timetable information
- ✓Join at the confirmed time and setup
- ✓Use the lesson respectfully
- ✓A trial does not guarantee future tutor or slot availability
Paid Lessons Begin Only after the Regular Arrangement Is Confirmed
Before continuing, confirm the course, recurring price or lesson fee, tutor, timetable and relevant cancellation/refund conditions.
The Price and Service You Agree Should Be Clear before Payment
The confirmed price, billing arrangement and lesson plan supplied for your booking take priority for those specific details, subject always to mandatory consumer law.
- ✓Check the current GBP price
- ✓Check lesson frequency and duration
- ✓Check whether payment repeats automatically
- ✓Check cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms
Services Must Respect Your Statutory Rights
These terms do not exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable rights concerning reasonable care and skill and services matching what was agreed.
A Parent or Responsible Adult Should Manage the Commercial Arrangement for a Child
Parents/carers should provide enrolment and payment information, understand the tutor and timetable, and keep child-related communication within appropriate safeguarding boundaries.
- ✓Provide accurate age/learner information
- ✓Understand lesson setup and contact routes
- ✓Keep payment details away from the child
- ✓Raise safeguarding concerns promptly
Learning Terms Never Override Child Welfare
If conduct, communication or a lesson setup creates a child-welfare concern, follow the safeguarding guidance and prioritise the child’s immediate safety.
Changes Should Be Discussed against the Arrangement You Actually Have
If you need to change a lesson, tutor or timetable, contact Quran Learning UK promptly and include the learner details needed to identify the arrangement.
- ✓Follow the cancellation/rescheduling terms supplied for your booking
- ✓Do not assume a replacement slot is guaranteed
- ✓Tell us if a tutor or lesson issue affects the service
- ✓Keep records of important booking or payment communications
Email the Learning Details
Include learner name, course/tutor if known, usual lesson time and the change or concern you want addressed.
What a Customer Should Be Able to Understand before Regular Lessons Start
Important commercial terms should not be hidden behind vague wording. Your actual booking should make the practical commitment understandable.
What You Are Buying
The learner, course, one-to-one lesson arrangement and any important teaching details should match what is confirmed before purchase.
What You Will Pay
Confirm the current GBP price, payment timing and whether any payment is one-off or recurring. Do not rely on an old screenshot or another learner’s price.
When Lessons Happen
Confirm the recurring GMT/BST day/time where applicable and whether the same slot or tutor is expected to continue.
How to Cancel, Pause or Reschedule
The applicable procedure and notice requirements should be stated in the booking information or linked policies before they are relied upon.
When Money May Be Returned or Credited
Refunds depend on the legal rights that apply and the service/refund terms agreed for the booking. The dedicated Refund Policy provides further detail once finalised.
What the Terms Cannot Take Away
Mandatory consumer rights remain in place. A contract term cannot simply remove a statutory protection that the law says must apply.
Statutory Cooling-Off Rights May Apply to Online Service Contracts
For many distance service contracts, UK consumers generally have a 14-day cancellation period starting after the contract is made. The exact application depends on the contract and statutory exceptions.
Where the Consumer Contracts rules apply, the consumer can generally cancel within the applicable statutory period without needing a reason.
Where the legal conditions are met, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for services supplied before you cancel.
The statutory cancellation right may end where you expressly requested early performance and gave the acknowledgement required by law.
Nothing in these terms is intended to reduce any cancellation or refund right that legally applies to your contract.
Online Learning Works Best When Both Sides Can Deliver the Agreed Lesson Properly
The tutor/service is responsible for delivering the agreed teaching with appropriate care. The learner or parent also needs to provide a workable learning environment and accurate booking information.
Use a suitable device, working audio and a sufficiently stable internet connection for the online lesson.
Late arrival may reduce the usable lesson time depending on the agreed arrangement.
The lesson should reflect the learner/course arrangement and be provided with the standards required by applicable law.
If tutor availability, timing or another important aspect changes, the affected party should be informed as reasonably practical.
Parents/carers should follow the safeguarding guidance and understand the child’s lesson setup.
Quran Learning UK Terms & Conditions
Read these general terms together with the specific booking information, Privacy Policy, Safeguarding guidance and Refund Policy that apply to your service.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of quranlearninguk.com and, where relevant, enquiries, tutor matching, free trials and paid online Quran-learning services arranged through Quran Learning UK.
If you purchase a service, your contract may also include specific written booking information confirming the learner, course, tutor arrangement, timetable, price, payment frequency and any applicable cancellation or rescheduling conditions. Those specific details form part of the agreement. Mandatory consumer law prevails over any inconsistent term.
2. Definitions
3. Website use
You may use the website for lawful personal purposes, including learning about courses, tutors, schedules, pricing guidance and how to contact Quran Learning UK.
- You must not knowingly introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with website operation or misuse forms and communication channels.
- Website content may change as courses, availability or service details change.
- General course information does not guarantee a specific tutor, timetable, lesson duration, completion date or learning outcome unless expressly confirmed for your booking.
- Links to external websites are provided for convenience; external sites may have their own terms and privacy practices.
4. Enquiries, learner information and tutor matching
To help identify a suitable learning arrangement, you may be asked for information such as learner type, approximate age or stage, current Quran level, learning goal, male/female tutor preference and suitable GMT/BST times.
You should provide information that is reasonably accurate and current. Tutor matching is subject to suitable course and timetable availability. A preference or enquiry does not by itself guarantee a particular teacher or slot.
5. Free trials
A complimentary trial can be requested. The purpose of the trial is to help understand the learner’s starting point, experience the teaching approach and consider tutor/course fit.
- The exact trial duration, platform, tutor and time are confirmed when the trial is arranged.
- A trial does not guarantee that the same tutor or time will remain available for paid lessons unless that continuation is separately confirmed.
- The learner and parent/carer must follow the same reasonable conduct and safeguarding expectations that apply to paid lessons.
6. When a paid service contract is formed
A website enquiry or trial request does not by itself create an obligation to purchase paid lessons. Before a paid service begins, the important commercial details should be provided or confirmed, including the service description and price.
A contract for paid services is formed when the parties complete the applicable booking/acceptance and payment process or otherwise clearly agree the paid service. Any legally required pre-contract information and confirmation should be supplied in a form the customer can keep.
7. Prices, billing and payment
The price payable is the price confirmed for your booking at the time the paid service is agreed. Pricing pages may provide guidance, but the final booking confirmation should identify the applicable GBP amount and payment arrangement.
- Before payment, check whether the price is per lesson, per period or another agreed structure.
- If a recurring payment arrangement is used, the billing frequency, renewal/cancellation method and other legally required subscription information must be disclosed before you are bound.
- Do not send full payment-card details through ordinary email or lesson messages.
- If payment is overdue, Quran Learning UK may contact the payer and may pause future paid lessons where this is fair, lawful and consistent with the agreed terms.
8. Lessons, attendance and timetable
Lessons take place online at the days/times agreed for the learner. Learners should join with a suitable device, working audio and internet connection and should be ready to participate at the scheduled time.
If a specific recurring slot is agreed, it applies subject to the booking terms and reasonable changes that may occasionally be necessary. Availability described generally on the website does not amount to a guarantee of every requested day or time.
9. Tutor availability and changes
Tutors may occasionally become unavailable because of illness, emergencies, scheduling changes or other legitimate reasons. Where a material tutor change is necessary, reasonable efforts should be made to communicate it and, where appropriate, discuss a suitable alternative.
A male or female tutor preference will be considered as part of matching, but availability depends on the course, learner and timetable. Advanced pathways such as Ijazah should only proceed where the required teacher authorisation is verified and available.
10. Customer cancellations, pauses and rescheduling
The specific notice period and procedure for cancelling, pausing or rescheduling regular lessons should be stated in the booking information or applicable policy supplied to you. Quran Learning UK will not rely on an undisclosed cancellation penalty or notice requirement.
In addition, statutory cancellation rights may apply. For many UK distance service contracts, a consumer generally has a 14-day cooling-off period starting after the contract is made, subject to statutory exceptions and conditions.
If you expressly request the service to begin during the statutory cancellation period and later cancel, the law may permit a proportionate charge for services already supplied where the legal requirements have been met. If a service is fully performed during the cancellation period, the cancellation right may end where the legally required request and acknowledgement have been given.
11. Refunds, credits and service issues
Refund or credit entitlement depends on the circumstances, the agreed service terms and applicable consumer law. The Refund Policy should be read alongside these terms.
Nothing in these terms allows Quran Learning UK to keep money where doing so would conflict with a mandatory consumer right. Equally, a refund is not automatically due merely because a learner changes their mind outside any applicable statutory or agreed cancellation right after services have been properly supplied.
12. Children, parents and safeguarding
Where the learner is under 18, a parent/carer should manage the commercial arrangement and provide enrolment/payment information. Parents should understand the tutor, timetable, platform/contact setup and safeguarding expectations.
- Children should not be asked to provide payment-card details or passwords to a tutor.
- Adult-child communication should remain professional and transparent in accordance with the safeguarding guidance.
- A parent or learner should report conduct that appears inappropriate, secretive, unsafe or outside normal teaching boundaries.
- Child welfare takes priority over ordinary lesson or contractual arrangements.
See the Safeguarding page for further guidance.
13. Learner and parent conduct
Learners, parents/carers and tutors should communicate respectfully. Harassment, threats, discriminatory abuse, deliberate disruption, sexual/inappropriate conduct, attempts to circumvent child-safety boundaries or misuse of another person’s private information are not acceptable.
Serious safety or conduct concerns may justify immediate suspension while the matter is reviewed. Less serious issues should normally be handled proportionately and with reasonable communication.
14. Lesson recordings, Quran text and learning materials
Do not assume that lessons are recorded. Any recording should be handled in accordance with the actual lesson policy, applicable privacy law and appropriate consent requirements.
Quran Learning UK does not claim ownership of the Quran itself. Original website design, written course materials, worksheets, graphics or other proprietary educational materials may be protected by intellectual-property rights. Unless permission is given, such materials are for the learner’s personal study and should not be commercially republished, sold or distributed.
15. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. Where applicable, UK consumer law includes rights concerning services being performed with reasonable care and skill, matching information that forms part of the contract, and being provided within a reasonable time or for a reasonable charge where those matters have not been fixed.
If the service supplied does not match what was agreed or is not provided with the standard required by law, statutory remedies may be available.
16. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights.
Quran learning outcomes differ between learners. Progress can be affected by starting level, attendance, practice, memory, confidence and other individual factors. Unless expressly guaranteed in writing and legally valid, no particular completion date, memorisation result, exam outcome or level of fluency is guaranteed.
Quran Learning UK is not responsible for losses caused solely by equipment, internet or software problems outside its reasonable control, but this does not remove any remedy that applies where the service itself has not been properly supplied.
17. Suspension or ending the service
Quran Learning UK may suspend or end a service where there are serious safeguarding concerns, unlawful use, abusive conduct, persistent non-payment or another substantial breach. Where immediate action is not necessary for safety or legal reasons, reasonable notice and an opportunity to clarify the issue should be considered.
If Quran Learning UK ends a paid service where the customer is not at fault, any refund, credit or other remedy should be handled fairly, taking account of services already provided, the agreement and applicable law.
18. Privacy and personal information
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Parents and learners should avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary messages or lesson chats.
19. Complaints and service concerns
If you are unhappy with the service, contact Quran Learning UK and explain the learner, lesson or transaction involved and the outcome you are seeking. For safeguarding concerns, clearly identify the message as safeguarding or child welfare.
Contact email: info@quaranlearninguk.com.
20. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated for future website use or future contracts when the service, law or operating arrangements change. The latest version should display an updated date.
A change to website terms does not automatically allow Quran Learning UK to rewrite an existing paid customer’s material contractual rights retrospectively. Changes affecting an existing contract must be handled in a manner permitted by the agreement and applicable law, with appropriate notice where required.
21. Applicable law, mandatory rights and contact
These terms are intended for services offered to UK customers. Mandatory consumer protections that apply in the part of the United Kingdom relevant to you are not displaced by these terms.
The final contracting entity, business address and any jurisdiction clause that applies to the service should be stated in the legally complete booking or business information before relying on these terms as the sole contract document.

Common Questions about Online Quran Lesson Terms
Trials, payment, cancellations, missed lessons, tutors, children, recordings and consumer rights.
A general website enquiry or trial request does not by itself create a paid commitment. A paid contract is formed when the parties complete the applicable booking/acceptance and payment process or otherwise clearly agree the paid service.
No paid commitment is created merely by requesting a complimentary trial. Regular paid lessons should only begin after the paid arrangement and price have been confirmed.
No. The same tutor or time should not be assumed until the regular arrangement is confirmed. Availability depends on the course, learner and timetable.
The applicable GBP price is the current price confirmed for your booking. Check the Pricing page and your specific booking information before payment.
Your contractual cancellation procedure should be supplied with your booking. In addition, statutory cancellation rights may apply to online service contracts, including a 14-day cooling-off period in many circumstances, subject to legal conditions and exceptions.
If you expressly request early performance and later exercise a statutory cancellation right, the law may allow a proportionate charge for services already supplied where the required legal conditions have been met.
The missed-lesson and rescheduling rules depend on the booking terms supplied for your learning arrangement. These general terms do not invent a notice period that has not been confirmed.
Where a tutor becomes unavailable, reasonable efforts should be made to communicate the change and, where appropriate, discuss an alternative. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
No term is intended to permit an unfair retrospective price change. Any price change affecting an existing arrangement must be handled according to the agreement and applicable consumer law, with appropriate information or notice where required.
A parent or responsible adult should manage the commercial arrangement for a child learner, including enrolment, payment and important service communications.
Do not assume recording is permitted. Recording must follow the applicable lesson policy, privacy requirements and appropriate consent.
No. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a mandatory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
Email Quran Learning UK at info@quaranlearninguk.com and explain which booking, payment or term your question concerns.
Ask about the Price, Lesson Arrangement or Cancellation Terms before You Commit
